Equipment

  • Champagne flutes: These are the best for serving, showing off the pretty bubbles.
  • Pitcher: Perfect for mixing if you're making several drinks.
  • Stirrer or spoon: Handy for gently blending ingredients.
  • Juicer: If I’m using fresh oranges, this ensures fresh juice. Fresh juice adds that little extra magic!

Ingredients

Here's what's needed for my Mimosa Magic:

  • Orange Juice: About 2 ounces per serving. Freshly squeezed tastes best and adds richness.
  • Champagne: 4 ounces per serving. A good quality or dry champagne is recommended for the perfect balance.
  • Orange slices: For garnish. It adds a simple yet elegant touch.
  • Optional: A dash of grenadine or pomegranate juice for a twist. It adds a splash of color and flavor.

These simple ingredients come together beautifully for a fancy-tasting cocktail.

Instructions

Making a Mimosa Magic is super easy:

  • Chill the champagne and orange juice first. It's best served cold.
  • Pour 2 ounces of orange juice into a champagne flute.
  • Top off with 4 ounces of champagne. Pour slowly to keep the bubbles!
  • For a fun twist, I sometimes add a splash of grenadine.
  • Garnish with an orange slice on the rim.

And there it is! A refreshing and easy cocktail. 🥂

    Notes

I find that using fresh orange juice makes the mimosas taste incredibly fresh and lively. Keep it simple and don’t stir too much, so the bubbles don’t disappear. Sometimes, I even like trying different juices like pineapple or cranberry for a tasty variation. Let me know how yours turns out! Share your own twist or tips in the comments. 😊
