Ingredients

  • 2 oz Midori melon liqueur
  • 3 oz eggnog store-bought or homemade
  • 1 oz vodka or white rum optional
  • 1/2 oz Bailey's Irish Cream or Kahlua optional
  • Ice cubes for shaking
  • Freshly grated nutmeg or cinnamon garnish
  • Maraschino cherry optional garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add Midori, eggnog, and vodka or rum (if using). Add Bailey’s or Kahlua if desired.
  • Shake gently for 10–15 seconds to mix and chill.
  • Strain into a chilled rocks glass or coupe.
  • Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg or cinnamon and a maraschino cherry, if desired.

Notes

The sweet melon flavor of Midori lightens the classic creamy eggnog. Add Bailey's or Kahlua for more richness, or skip the spirits for a lower-alcohol version. Chill the glass first for the best texture and taste.
