  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Tall glass or shaker bottle
  • Reusable straw or spoon
  • Small sifter (for dusting matcha on top, optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice almond, oat, or dairy
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions

  • Add milk to the blender.
  • Spoon in the matcha and protein powder.
  • Blend until the powders dissolve.
  • Add ice cubes and sweetener (honey or maple syrup) and vanilla extract if using.
  • Blend again until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a tall glass and serve right away. Optional: Dust a little extra matcha on top for garnish.

Notes

Sift matcha powder before blending for a smoother texture. Use cold milk for the freshest taste. For a thicker shake, use a few frozen banana slices instead of ice. Add more matcha for a stronger flavor, and adjust sweetener to taste. Perfect as a healthy cocktail, post-workout shake, or fun energy boost!
