  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Tall glass
  • Small whisk or matcha whisk
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks or fresh mango pieces
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 cup plant-based milk almond or coconut milk recommended
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey optional, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional, for texture and fiber
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes
  • extra mango slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Whisk the matcha powder with about 2 tablespoons of warm water until smooth.
  • Add frozen mango, banana, plant-based milk, whisked matcha, and ice cubes to a blender.
  • Blend everything on high until creamy and smooth.
  • Taste and add maple syrup or honey if you want more sweetness.
  • Sprinkle in chia seeds if you like, then pulse just to mix.
  • Pour into a glass and add a mango slice on top for garnish if desired.

Notes

Frozen mango gives a thicker smoothie than fresh. Coconut milk makes it creamier, almond milk keeps it lighter. Frozen banana balances matcha’s earthy flavor. Add more milk if too thick, or extra ice for coldness. Chia seeds boost nutrition and texture. Try freezing your milk into cubes for an ultra-cold, creamy result!
