Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Glass or mason jar
  • Spoon
  • Small bowl
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Straw

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana frozen is best
  • 1/3 cup raw pecans soaked for creamier texture
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes for thickness
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Add almond milk, frozen banana, soaked pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt to a blender.
  • Blend on high for 30–45 seconds until smooth.
  • Taste and add more maple syrup if desired.
  • For a thicker texture, add ice cubes and blend again.
  • Pour into your glass or jar.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and chopped pecans on top if you like. Serve immediately.

Notes

Frozen banana gives the best creamy texture. Swap oat milk for almond milk for a twist. Walnuts can replace pecans if needed. Best enjoyed fresh after blending.
