  • Measuring spoons and cups
  • Small strainer
  • Tall glass or mocktail glass
  • Mixing spoon
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Serving tray
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pear juice or pear nectar Bartlett pear juice preferred
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup chilled sparkling water
  • ice cubes
  • 1-2 thin pear slices for garnish
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 fresh rosemary sprig
  • star anise optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker or jar with ice cubes.
  • Add pear juice, maple syrup, and lemon juice.
  • Add a cinnamon stick and shake or stir well for 10 seconds.
  • Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with chilled sparkling water and stir gently.
  • Garnish with pear slices, rosemary sprig, and star anise if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pear nectar can be used if pure pear juice isn't available. Add more maple syrup if you want it sweeter. For extra aroma, leave the cinnamon stick or add star anise. Chill all ingredients for the best bubbles. Dip pear slices in lemon water to prevent browning.
