Instructions
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
Add bourbon, maple syrup, cranberry juice, and optional lemon juice.
Shake hard for about 15 seconds until very cold.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with cranberries on a pick and a rosemary sprig. Taste and adjust with a few drops more maple syrup if needed.
Notes
Top with a splash of sparkling water for a lighter highball. Homemade cranberry syrup (simmer cranberries with equal parts water and sugar, then strain) adds deeper color and fruitiness.
