Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Jigger
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Cocktail glasses (tall or hurricane)
  • Straw or stirrer
  • Small plate (for sugar or coconut rim)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup coconut cream or cream of coconut
  • 2 oz white rum or coconut rum
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • fresh strawberries or pineapple wedges optional, for garnish
  • toasted coconut flakes optional, for rimming glass

Instructions

  • Add pineapple juice, orange juice, and coconut cream to the blender.
  • Add frozen mango chunks, frozen strawberries, rum, and crushed ice.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down if needed.
  • Taste and adjust with a splash more juice for thinner texture or more ice for thicker texture.
  • Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with a strawberry or pineapple wedge. Serve immediately.
  • Optional layered look: blend strawberry and mango portions separately and pour slowly to create stripes.

Notes

Cream of coconut yields a sweeter, richer result than plain coconut cream. For a mocktail, skip the rum and add extra pineapple juice. Drink promptly after blending for the best silky texture.
