  • Large cocktail glass or copper mug
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ice cube tray
  • Cocktail spoon or bar spoon
  • Citrus juicer
  • Blender (for fresh mango puree)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz mango puree fresh or store-bought
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 4-6 oz ginger beer
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Optional:

  • 1/4 oz simple syrup if using fresh mango
  • Fresh mango chunks for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill the glass or copper mug with ice cubes.
  • Pour mango puree into the glass.
  • Add fresh lime juice and stir gently.
  • Top with ginger beer and mix lightly with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a lime wedge.
  • The drink should have a golden-orange color with a fizzy top layer.

Notes

The recipe works best with ripe mangoes for the sweetest flavor.
Store-bought mango puree saves time and provides consistent results.
Keep ginger beer cold before serving to maintain maximum fizz.
For a spicier drink, add a few drops of ginger juice or muddle fresh ginger.
