  • Martini glass or coupe glass

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz cream of coconut
  • 1.5 oz fresh mango chunks about 1/4 mango
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Lime wheel for garnish
  • Fresh mango slice for garnish

Optional:

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup if mangoes aren't sweet enough
  • Toasted coconut flakes for rim

Instructions

  • Cut the mango into small chunks.
  • Add mango chunks, rum, lime juice, and cream of coconut to a blender.
  • Add crushed ice and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake the shaker for 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass or coupe.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and mango slice.

Notes

The drink can be served frozen or on the rocks. For a frozen version, double the ice and blend until smooth.
Fresh mango works best, but frozen mango can be used in a pinch. Just thaw it first.
Store cream of coconut in the fridge after opening. It will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks.
Pre-chill the glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving for the best presentation.
