This icy, sweet-tart mocktail blends real mango and apple with a zing of ginger and lemon. Fruity, frosty, and perfect for hot days or family parties—no alcohol, all fun!

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Citrus juicer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Glass or cup
  • Spoon or straw

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango peeled and chopped
  • 1 apple cored and diced
  • 1 cup mango juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or honey optional, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger fresh is best
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Toss chopped mango and apple into your blender.
  • Pour in mango juice and lemon juice.
  • Add sugar or honey if desired.
  • Sprinkle in the grated ginger for a kick.
  • Throw in ice cubes and a couple of mint leaves.
  • Blend on high until thick and smooth.
  • Pour the slush into your glass and garnish with mint or a slice of fruit.

Notes

If the drink is too thick, splash in more mango juice. Try honey instead of sugar for a natural sweetener, or swap in orange juice if you're out of mango juice. Frozen mango works too!
