  • Strainer
  • Measuring jigger
  • Tall glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Malibu Watermelon Rum
  • 1 oz vodka or gin optional, for more punch
  • 2 oz watermelon juice fresh or bottled
  • 1 oz pineapple juice or orange juice
  • 1 oz cranberry juice or lemonade
  • 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • sparkling water or club soda or ginger beer splash, for topping
  • fresh mint leaves for muddling and garnish
  • watermelon wedge for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill a shaker with ice.
  • Add Malibu Watermelon Rum, vodka or gin (if using), watermelon juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and lime juice.
  • Shake for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a tall glass packed with ice.
  • Top off with sparkling water, club soda, or ginger beer.
  • Stir gently.
  • Garnish with a wedge of watermelon and fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by varying the juice selection—pineapple juice for sweeter, cranberry for more tartness. Omit vodka or gin for a lighter cocktail, or add for extra strength. Fresh watermelon juice is ideal but bottled works in a pinch. Use sparkling water for a lighter drink or ginger beer for a spicy kick. Garnish with mint and watermelon for freshness and visual appeal.
