Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Collins glass or highball glass
  • Measuring jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Ice scoop or tongs

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Malibu coconut rum
  • 2 oz pineapple juice canned or fresh
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz lemonade
  • 1 oz margarita mix
  • ice cubes enough to fill your glass
  • fresh orange slice for garnish
  • strawberry optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill your cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  • Pour in Malibu coconut rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, lemonade, and margarita mix.
  • Shake well for 10–15 seconds until cold.
  • Strain into a Collins or highball glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Gently stir with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a fresh orange slice and a strawberry if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh juices when possible. Adjust sweetness with extra pineapple juice or more tartness with additional lemonade. Collins glass works great for plenty of ice and garnish. Fresh fruit not only looks great but adds aroma to every sip.
