Ingredients

  • 1 oz Malibu coconut rum
  • 1 oz light rum or white rum
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz coconut cream or coconut milk for lighter drink
  • 1 cup ice
  • pineapple slice for garnish
  • cocktail umbrella for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add Malibu coconut rum, light rum, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and coconut cream to the shaker.
  • Shake well until the shaker feels cold, about 10–15 seconds.
  • Strain the drink into a hurricane or highball glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a pineapple slice and cocktail umbrella. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh pineapple juice. Make it creamier with extra coconut cream, or swap in coconut milk for a lighter version. Hurricane glass shows off the blue color best, but any tall glass works. Garnishing with pineapple and an umbrella brings a festive, tropical look.
