  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Rocks glass
  • Peeler or zester
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Lyre’s American Malt
  • 0.5 oz sugar syrup
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • Orange peel for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add ice to the mixing glass.
  • Pour in Lyre’s American Malt with the jigger.
  • Measure and add the sugar syrup.
  • Add two dashes of bitters.
  • Stir slowly with the bar spoon for about 20–30 seconds.
  • Strain the drink into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
  • Express the orange peel over the glass to release the oils, then drop it in as a garnish.

Notes

Use large ice cubes to keep it cold and avoid dilution.
Adjust bitters and syrup for more boldness or a lighter drink.
Always use fresh orange peel for the best aroma.
Precise measurements keep flavors balanced—too much syrup or bitters can shift things.
