  • Cocktail shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Martini glass
  • Jigger or measuring tool
  • Ice

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz lychee juice from canned lychees
  • 1/2 oz rose syrup
  • 1/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2-3 canned lychees for garnish
  • Ice for shaking

Instructions

  • Fill the martini glass with ice and water to chill. Set aside.
  • Add vodka, lychee juice, rose syrup, and lime juice to the cocktail shaker.
  • Fill the shaker 3/4 full with ice cubes.
  • Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Empty the ice water from the martini glass.
  • Double strain the cocktail through both strainers into the chilled glass.
  • Garnish with 2-3 lychees on a cocktail pick.

Notes

The cocktail works best with canned lychees and their syrup rather than fresh fruit.
Store rose syrup in the refrigerator after opening to maintain freshness.
