  • Muddler
  • Bar spoon
  • Jigger
  • Ice scoop
  • Citrus peeler

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz limoncello
  • 8 leaves fresh mint
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup
  • Crushed ice enough to fill glass
  • Lemon peel for garnish
  • Mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • Muddle mint leaves with simple syrup in the bottom of your glass.
  • Add bourbon and limoncello, then fill the glass with crushed ice.
  • Stir well until the glass frosts.
  • Garnish with more mint and a lemon peel.

Notes

Use superfine sugar instead of syrup for a classic touch. Try with a splash of club soda for a lighter julep. Chill your glass for best results.
