Ingredients

bourbon

oz
limoncello

leaves
fresh mint

oz
simple syrup
Crushed ice
enough to fill glass
Lemon peel
for garnish
Mint sprig

Instructions
Muddle mint leaves with simple syrup in the bottom of your glass.
Add bourbon and limoncello, then fill the glass with crushed ice.
Stir well until the glass frosts.
Garnish with more mint and a lemon peel.
Notes
Use superfine sugar instead of syrup for a classic touch. Try with a splash of club soda for a lighter julep. Chill your glass for best results.
