Muddle gently until the lime gives up its juice and the sugar starts to dissolve.
Add the mint leaves and muddle lightly—don’t go overboard or you’ll get bitterness.
Pour in limoncello and cachaça.
Fill the glass with ice.
Stir well or give it a quick shake to mix.
