Lemon Lavender Fizz Cocktail Recipe
This refreshing drink combines fresh lemon juice, homemade lavender syrup, and sparkling water for a light and floral mocktail or cocktail.

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Jigger or measuring tool
  • Tall glass
  • Small saucepan (for syrup)
  • Spoon
  • Ice cube tray
  • Citrus juicer

Ingredients

  • 2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1.5 oz Gin Or Vodka
  • 1 oz lavender simple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh lavender sprig for garnish
  • For lavender syrup:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender buds

Instructions

  • Make the lavender syrup: Heat water and sugar in a small saucepan until sugar dissolves. Add lavender buds and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
  • Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer. Let cool completely.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour lemon juice and lavender syrup into the glass.
  • Then, top with sparkling water and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a fresh lavender sprig.

Notes

The lavender syrup keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
For an non alcoholic version, use  sparkling water on the place of vodka
The drink can be made sweeter by adding more lavender syrup.
Fresh lemon juice works best - bottled juice will change the taste.
