I use fresh lemons and blueberries for a drink that’s light, tasty, and has a sparkling finish. With a few tools and simple steps, I can mix this cocktail at home for pretty much any occasion.
Cocktail shaker or mason jar with lid: You’ll want this for mixing everything up well.
Muddler or wooden spoon: I use it to really press the blueberries and lemons—gets the flavors going.
Measuring jigger: Helps keep the taste balanced.
Strainer: Catches pulp and fruit bits so the drink’s nice and smooth.
Tall glass or highball glass: Keeps it bubbly when you serve.
Bar spoon or regular spoon: For a gentle stir at the end.
Citrus juicer (optional): Makes juicing lemons way easier.

Pour in simple syrup and vodka over the muddled fruit.
Add ice to fill the shaker halfway.

Top the glass with lemon soda or club soda and stir gently with a spoon.
Garnish with blueberries and lemon slices to finish.
Notes
If you want it sweeter, just add a bit more simple syrup. For a stronger berry kick, muddle a few extra blueberries—why not?Club soda keeps it less sweet, while lemon soda brightens and sweetens things up. Swapping vodka for gin? Totally changes the vibe, but both work well.Fresh fruit looks way better for garnish, trust me. Sometimes I freeze blueberries and use them as ice cubes—keeps the drink cold without watering it down. Fun little trick.
