Blend strawberries with a small splash of pineapple juice until smooth; set aside.
In a clean blender, add banana, cream of coconut, remaining pineapple juice, light rum, coconut rum, and crushed ice; blend until creamy.
Pour the strawberry purée into a hurricane glass, then slowly add the coconut mixture to create the lava swirl.
Garnish with a pineapple slice or cocktail umbrella and serve immediately.
Notes
Frozen strawberries help keep the layers distinct. For a lighter drink, reduce the cream of coconut and add extra pineapple juice. Make it virgin by skipping the rums and adding more juice.
