Kiwi Strawberry Slush Cocktail Recipe

Kiwi Strawberry Slush Cocktail Recipe
For a smooth, fruity kiwi strawberry slush cocktail, I start with the right tools and the freshest produce I can get my hands on. Frozen fruit keeps things thick and frosty, and a little simple syrup helps balance out the flavors.

Equipment

  • Blender: I always use a high-powered one to blitz frozen fruit and ice until it’s smooth.
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons: These are handy for getting the proportions just right.
  • Citrus Juicer (optional): If I’m using fresh lime juice, this is a lifesaver.
  • Knife and Cutting Board: For slicing up the kiwi and strawberries, whether I’m freezing them or making garnishes.
  • Cocktail Glasses: Chilled glasses, always—they make a difference.
  • Strainer (optional): Sometimes I strain out seeds or pulp if I want it extra smooth.
  • Spoon or Straw: Gotta have something to stir and sip with.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 ripe kiwis peeled and sliced, then frozen
  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup or more if you like it sweeter
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: fresh mint leaves kiwi or strawberry slices

Instructions

  • Toss the frozen strawberries and kiwi into the blender first.
  • Add vodka, simple syrup, lime juice, and the ice cubes right on top.
  • Blend on high. Go until everything’s smooth and slushy—don’t overdo it, or it’ll get watery.
  • Taste and tweak the sweetness if you want. Sometimes I add a bit more syrup.
  • Pour into chilled cocktail glasses. Looks so good already.
  • Garnish with mint, kiwi, or strawberry slices if you’re feeling fancy.
  • Serve right away with a spoon or straw. Trust me, it’s best fresh.

Notes

Frozen fruit is key—it keeps the slush icy for longer. I usually freeze ripe kiwis and strawberries the night before, just to be prepared.
If it tastes off—too sweet or too tart—I’ll adjust the simple syrup or lime juice. Sometimes I swap in agave or honey if I’m out of syrup.
For parties, I’ll double or triple the recipe and just blend in batches. If I want something lighter, I cut the vodka in half and top it off with lemon-lime soda for a little fizz. Chilled glasses definitely help keep things frosty.
