Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila Casamigos, Don Julio Blanco, or Espolòn all work
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup add more or less to taste
  • 2-3 slices fresh kiwi peeled
  • 4-6 oz sparkling mineral water Topo Chico preferred
  • jalapeño slices optional, for heat
  • lime wedge optional, for garnish
  • kiwi slice optional, for garnish
  • Tajín optional, for rim

Instructions

  • Muddle the kiwi slices in your shaker until juicy.
  • Pour in the tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  • Add ice and shake for about 10–15 seconds.
  • Strain everything into a chilled highball glass with fresh ice.
  • Top with sparkling mineral water and give it a gentle stir.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge or kiwi slice if desired.

Notes

Topo Chico is best for strong bubbles, but any sparkling water works. Adjust syrup to taste. For a spicy version, add jalapeño slices before shaking. Serve ice-cold and enjoy immediately for the freshest taste.
