Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz Cointreau or orange liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz agave nectar or agave syrup
  • 1–2 slices fresh jalapeño use more for extra heat
  • 1 ripe kiwi peeled and sliced
  • ice cubes for shaking and serving
  • kiwi or lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Add kiwi slices and jalapeño to shaker. Muddle well to release juices and heat.
  • Add tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and agave nectar.
  • Fill shaker with ice and shake hard for 15 seconds.
  • Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with a slice of kiwi or a lime wedge.

Notes

Use ripe kiwi for sweetness and balance. Double strain for a smooth texture. Adjust jalapeño to control the spice level. Fresh lime juice is key for a bright finish.
