4-5ozchilled champagneor sparkling wine such as prosecco or cava
lemon twist or fresh blackcurrantsfor garnish
Instructions
Chill a champagne flute in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes.
Pour the crème de cassis into the bottom of the flute.
Slowly top with chilled champagne or sparkling wine.
Do not stir; the bubbles will naturally mix the drink.
Garnish with a lemon twist or fresh blackcurrants.
Notes
Use brut champagne for a drier balance, or add more crème de cassis for a sweeter drink. Variations include using raspberry liqueur or a blend of berry liqueurs.
