A fun St. Patrick’s Day twist on a classic: smooth Irish whiskey meets bright lime, orange liqueur, a touch of tequila, and honey syrup—served in a sugar-rimmed glass.
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a chilled glass, then dip into gold sugar (or regular sugar).
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add Irish whiskey, silver tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and honey syrup.
Shake hard for about 15 seconds until the shaker is very cold.
Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Add a drop of green food coloring if desired and gently stir.
Garnish with a lime wedge and a small mint sprig. Serve immediately.
Notes
Grand Marnier can replace Cointreau for a richer orange note. If using simple syrup instead of honey syrup, reduce slightly to keep balance. Fresh lime juice is key for brightness.
