Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Long spoon or muddler
  • Small saucepan
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Citrus juicer
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Cocktail glasses or tumblers
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.5 cup hot water
  • 750 ml dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 0.5 cup gin
  • 0.5 cup orange juice fresh is best
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 1 orange sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 cup strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup green grapes halved
  • 1 peach pitted and sliced, optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups club soda chilled
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Combine honey and hot water in a small saucepan. Stir until the honey dissolves, then let cool.
  • Add cooled honey syrup, white wine, gin, orange juice, and lemon juice to a large pitcher. Stir to combine.
  • Add orange slices, lemon slices, strawberries, grapes, peach slices, and mint leaves. Gently stir again.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (up to overnight) to let flavors blend.
  • When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour sangria over ice, add fruit to each glass, and top with club soda.
  • Garnish with extra mint or citrus, if desired.

Notes

Swap white wine for rosé for a pink sangria. For less sweetness, reduce honey or orange juice. For a non-alcoholic version, skip the gin and wine—use sparkling water instead. Mix everything but club soda and ice ahead; add them right before serving for best fizz.
