  • Medium pitcher or large mixing bowl
  • Long spoon
  • Sharp knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Glasses or mason jars
  • Ice cream scoop
  • Strainer

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Honeycrisp apple cider cold
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1/2 cup orange juice fresh or concentrate
  • 1/2 fresh Honeycrisp apple sliced
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cinnamon stick plus extra for serving
  • ice cubes
  • ground cinnamon optional, for garnish
  • apple chips or orange slice optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add ice cubes to serving glasses.
  • Pour 1 cup apple cider into each glass.
  • Add 1/4 cup orange juice to each glass.
  • Add apple slices and a cinnamon stick to each glass.
  • Top with 1/2 cup club soda for fizz. Stir gently.
  • Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to each glass. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon, if desired.
  • Serve right away, garnished with apple chips or orange slice if you like.

Notes

Honeycrisp cider gives the brightest flavor, but any apple cider works. Prep apples ahead and soak in lemon juice to keep them from browning. Serve floats immediately for the best texture.
