Equipment

  • Punch bowl or pitcher
  • Long spoon or ladle
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Citrus juicer
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Ice mold or tray
  • Glasses or cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1.5 cups aged rum
  • 0.5 cup lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup club soda or ginger ale, for fizz
  • fresh fruit slices orange, pineapple, lemon, or cherries for garnish
  • ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  • Pour orange juice, pineapple juice, rum, lemon juice, and simple syrup into a large punch bowl or pitcher.
  • Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  • Add club soda (or ginger ale) just before serving for fizz.
  • Add plenty of ice to keep punch cold.
  • Float fresh fruit slices on top for garnish.
  • Serve in glasses over ice and enjoy!

Notes

Fresh-squeezed citrus juice makes the punch extra bright. Add more or less simple syrup depending on your sweet tooth. Swap in sparkling water or ginger ale for a different fizz. For a non-alcoholic version, skip the rum and add more club soda or juice.
