Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh honeydew melon peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup lime juice fresh or bottled
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
  • 1 tbsp honey or vanilla syrup
  • ¼ tsp green food coloring optional
  • cup blackberries and blueberries
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate juice or blackberry syrup for a dark swirl
  • Gummy worms for garnish
  • Black sugar for rimming glasses
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick optional
  • Dry ice optional and only for visual effect—do not ingest!

Instructions

  • Rim the glasses by rubbing honey on the edge and dipping into black sugar.
  • In a blender, puree the honeydew melon until smooth.
  • Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher.
  • Stir in pineapple juice, lime juice, honey or vanilla syrup, and green food coloring (if using).
  • Add lemon-lime soda, club soda, and pomegranate juice or blackberry syrup. Stir gently.
  • Add ice cubes to the pitcher or glasses.
  • Drop a few blueberries and blackberries into each glass.
  • Garnish with mint leaves, a cinnamon stick, and gummy worms.
  • For dramatic flair, add a small piece of dry ice using tongs. Allow bubbling to stop before drinking.
