  • Wooden spoon or ladle
  • Measuring cups
  • Sharp knife
  • Citrus juicer
  • Cutting Board
  • Glasses for serving
  • Ice bucket or tray
  • Strainer (for fresh lemon juice)
  • Small bowls for garnishes (optional)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup vodka
  • ½ cup orange liqueur Cointreau or Grand Marnier
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 bottle 750 ml dry red wine
  • 2 cups ginger beer
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1 orange sliced into rounds
  • 1 apple sliced thin
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish
  • Cinnamon sugar for rimming glasses, optional
  • Ice

Instructions

  • If desired, rim glasses with lemon juice and dip into cinnamon sugar.
  • Slice apple and orange into rounds or thin slices.
  • In a large punch bowl, combine:
    Apple cider, Pomegranate juice, Vodka, Orange liqueur, Lemon juice, Maple syrup, Red wine
  • Stir well with a wooden spoon.
  • Add fruit slices, pomegranate seeds, and cinnamon sticks.
  • Add ice to chill.
  • Just before serving, pour in ginger beer and sparkling water.
  • Stir gently and ladle into glasses. Garnish each with fruit and a cinnamon stick if desired.
