Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Measuring jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Wine or spritz glass
  • Ice scoop
  • Small strainer
  • Citrus peeler or knife

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Prosecco chilled
  • 2 oz blood orange soda or orange-flavored sparkling water
  • 1 oz Aperol or another orange aperitif
  • 0.5 oz lime juice fresh
  • ice cubes enough to fill the glass
  • 1 slice orange or lime wheel, for garnish
  • blackberries optional, for garnish
  • 1 sprig rosemary optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a spritz or wine glass halfway with ice.
  • Pour in Aperol and fresh lime juice.
  • Add blood orange soda slowly.
  • Top with chilled Prosecco and stir gently to keep the bubbles.
  • Garnish with an orange slice (or lime wheel). Add a few blackberries or a rosemary sprig for a spooky touch and serve immediately.

Notes

Chill ingredients ahead so the drink stays crisp. For batching, combine Aperol and lime juice in a pitcher; top each glass with soda and Prosecco to preserve fizz. For a non‑alcoholic version, use sparkling grape juice instead of Prosecco and omit Aperol.
