Ingredients

  • 3 cups guava nectar or juice
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup ginger syrup
  • 2 cups ginger beer
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wheels for garnish
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour guava nectar, rum, lime juice, and ginger syrup into a large punch bowl.
  • Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon until well combined.
  • Add ice cubes to the punch bowl.
  • Pour in the ginger beer just before serving to maintain carbonation.
  • Float lime wheels on top of the punch.
  • Add mint sprigs for garnish.
  • Serve in ice-filled glasses.

Notes

Keep ingredients chilled before mixing for the best results.
The punch can be made up to 2 hours ahead - just add ginger beer and ice right before serving.
For a non-alcoholic version, replace rum with coconut water.
Store any leftover ginger syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
