  • Cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • Muddler or wooden spoon
  • Jigger or measuring spoons
  • Strainer
  • Old-fashioned or rocks glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Gloves or tongs (for handling dry ice)
  • Ice (crushed preferred)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz spiced rum
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • 8 –10 fresh mint leaves
  • Crushed ice
  • Optional Garnishes:
  • Lemon wheel
  • Mint sprig
  • Small piece of food-grade dry ice

Instructions

  • Add mint leaves and simple syrup to your shaker. Muddle gently to release oils.
  • Pour in spiced rum and fresh lemon juice.
  • Fill the shaker halfway with crushed ice.
  • Shake well for 10–12 seconds until cold.
  • Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
  • With gloves or tongs, drop in a small piece of dry ice for fog effect.
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel or mint sprig if desired.
  • Wait for the fog to subside before sipping. Serve immediately.
