Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz gingerbread syrup store-bought or homemade
  • 0.5 oz hazelnut liqueur or coffee liqueur like Kahlúa
  • 0.5 oz Irish cream liqueur like Baileys
  • 0.5 oz heavy cream
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp molasses
  • pinch ground ginger
  • pinch nutmeg
  • pinch ground cloves
  • 1 tsp brown sugar optional, for rimming
  • whipped cream optional, for topping
  • gingerbread cookie optional, for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add ice cubes to cocktail shaker.
  • Pour in vodka, gingerbread syrup, hazelnut or coffee liqueur, Irish cream, heavy cream, vanilla extract, molasses, ground ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  • Shake hard for 15-20 seconds until creamy and smooth.
  • Rim martini glass with brown sugar and a little ground ginger if desired.
  • Strain into the martini glass.
  • Top with whipped cream.
  • Garnish with gingerbread cookie.

Notes

Homemade gingerbread syrup allows you to control sweetness and spice levels. Fresh ginger can boost flavor. Swap half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter texture. Serve immediately for best results. Garnish options like cookies and grated nutmeg add festive flair.
