Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1/2 oz gingerbread syrup
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • Ice as needed
  • 1 cinnamon stick optional, for garnish
  • 1 twist orange peel for garnish
  • 1 tsp cinnamon sugar optional, for rimming the glass

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add bourbon (or rye), sweet vermouth, gingerbread syrup, and aromatic bitters.
  • Shake or stir for about 20 seconds until well chilled.
