Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila blanco preferred, or mezcal for smoky version
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz peach juice or simple syrup from ripe peaches
  • 0.5 oz agave nectar optional, for sweetness
  • 4-6 oz sparkling mineral water Topo Chico or similar
  • peach slices for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill your shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add tequila, lime juice, peach juice, and agave nectar.
  • Shake for about 10 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a tall glass packed with fresh ice.
  • Top with sparkling mineral water and stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a peach slice or lime wheel. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

Topo Chico is preferred for long-lasting bubbles. Skip agave for a drier cocktail, or use mezcal for smokiness. For extra citrus, splash in more lime. Use ripe peaches for the best flavor, and always serve ice-cold for maximum refreshment.
