  • Cocktail shaker or mason jar with lid
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Tall glass
  • Stirring spoon
  • Muddler
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 3 oz apple juice unsweetened preferred
  • 2 oz ginger beer non-alcoholic
  • 1 oz lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 1 tsp honey or simple syrup sweeten to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Apple slices for garnish, optional
  • Lemon wedges for garnish, optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Toss the fresh ginger and honey into your shaker and muddle until fragrant.
  • Add apple juice and lemon juice.
  • Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a tall glass with ice.
  • Pour ginger beer on top and give it a gentle stir.
  • Garnish with apple slices, a lemon wedge, and fresh mint if desired.

Notes

Add more ginger for extra spice, or use unfiltered apple juice for a deeper flavor. Make sure juices and ginger beer are chilled. Skip sweetener or use sugar-free if you want it lighter. Easy to scale up for parties.
