  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Muddler or spoon

  • Ice cube tray
  • Citrus juicer (optional)
  • Peeler or zester (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chilled apple cider
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup ginger beer non-alcoholic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  • 3 –4 thin slices fresh ginger
  • 1 stick cinnamon or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/4 apple thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 –2 orange slices for garnish
  • 1 cup ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  • Add fresh ginger slices and cinnamon. Muddle the ginger slightly for a stronger flavor, or stir in for a lighter version.
  • Pour in the apple cider.
  • Add orange juice and honey/maple syrup if desired, then stir gently.
  • Top with ginger beer.
  • Garnish with thin apple and orange slices.
  • Serve chilled.

Optional – For Warm Version:

  • In a small saucepan, combine apple cider, ginger slices, orange juice, cinnamon, and honey/maple syrup.
  • Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
  • Strain into a mug.
  • Garnish with apple and orange slices before serving warm.
