Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Citrus juicer
  • Mixing spoon
  • Glasses
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Straws or stir sticks

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 0.5 cup fresh strawberries hulled
  • 0.5 cup fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
  • 0.25 cup simple syrup, honey, or agave syrup
  • 0.5 cup orange juice or lemon juice for extra citrus
  • 1 cup sparkling water, club soda, or lemon-lime soda
  • fresh mint leaves or basil for garnish
  • lime wedges or lime slices for serving
  • optional: pinch of ginger or sprig of rosemary for aroma

Instructions

  • Add frozen strawberries, fresh strawberries, lime juice, and orange juice to your blender.
  • Add your sweetener of choice—simple syrup, honey, or agave.
  • Blend until smooth and thick.
  • Taste and add more syrup if you want it sweeter.
  • Pour the mixture into glasses about two-thirds full.
  • Top each with sparkling water, club soda, or Sprite.
  • Stir gently to mix the bubbles into the fruit base.
  • Garnish with mint, lime, or basil. Serve immediately.

Notes

Frozen strawberries keep it icy without watering down the flavor. Use club soda for a lighter taste or Sprite for more sweetness. Garnish with mint or basil, or try a salt rim for a margarita-style twist.
