A refreshing frozen margarita made by blending frozen pineapple with tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice, and a touch of sweetener. Smooth, tropical, and beach-bar easy.
Add frozen pineapple chunks and ice cubes to a blender.
Pour in tequila, triple sec (or Cointreau), fresh lime juice, and simple or agave syrup.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy; stop to scrape down sides as needed.
Taste and adjust with a little more syrup (sweeter) or lime juice (tarter).
Optional: Rim chilled glasses with lime and dip in coarse salt.
Pour into glasses and garnish with pineapple slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use reposado tequila for a warmer, oaky note. If too thick, blend in a splash of water or extra lime juice; if too thin, add more frozen pineapple. Fresh pineapple works too—just add extra ice to keep it frosty.
