  • Rocks glass or old-fashioned glass
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Bar spoon
  • Measuring jigger
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur Kahlúa or another brand
  • 1 oz heavy cream, half-and-half, or whole milk
  • ice cubes
  • cinnamon or nutmeg optional garnish
  • Baileys Irish Cream optional substitution for cream

Instructions

  • Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour vodka over the ice.
  • Add coffee liqueur like Kahlúa.
  • Stir gently to mix.
  • Float or pour cream over the top. Stir if desired.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg if using.

Notes

Use heavy cream for richness, or half-and-half/whole milk for a lighter drink. Baileys makes a sweeter variation. Serve in a chilled glass with solid ice cubes for best results.
