  • Stirring spoon or whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ice cube tray
  • Paring knife
  • Glasses or mason jars
  • Small plate (for cinnamon sugar rim)
  • Strainer (optional)
  • Paper towels

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple cider or apple juice
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup ginger ale or ginger beer
  • 1 cup seltzer water or sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 –2 tablespoons honey optional, to taste
  • 12 –16 fresh cranberries or blueberries for eyeballs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for rim
  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds optional
  • 4 fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • 4 cinnamon sticks for garnish
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon on a small plate to create the cinnamon sugar rim.
  • Dip the rim of each glass in lemon juice, then into the cinnamon sugar. Set aside.
  • In a large pitcher, combine apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and honey. Stir well to dissolve the honey.
  • Add ginger ale and seltzer water. Stir gently.
  • Drop in cranberries or blueberries for the “eyeball” effect. Freeze them beforehand for extra chill.
  • Add sliced apples, lemon wedges, and optional pomegranate seeds.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour mocktail mixture into each glass.
  • Garnish with mint sprigs, a cinnamon stick, and a few floating “eyeballs.”
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your spooky sip!
