  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Collins glass
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin or vodka for a lighter taste
  • 1 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.5 oz honey syrup mix honey with warm water
  • 1 oz pear puree made from ripe pears, strained
  • 2 oz club soda or sparkling water
  • pear slice for garnish
  • freshly grated cinnamon optional garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, honey syrup, and pear puree.
  • Shake until well mixed and icy cold.
  • Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with club soda or sparkling water and stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a pear slice and, if desired, a sprinkle of freshly grated cinnamon.

Notes

Use ripe pears for the best flavor in the puree. Fresh lemon juice brightens the drink, while club soda adds refreshing bubbles. Adjust honey syrup to taste if you prefer less sweetness.
