reposado tequila

crème de cassis
black currant liqueur

freshly squeezed lime juice

–4 oz ginger beer

ginger syrup
Garnish: lime wedge or wheel
Optional garnish: candied ginger
Instructions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add tequila, crème de cassis, lime juice, and ginger syrup.
Shake well for about 10 seconds.
Strain into a highball or Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with ginger beer.
Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine without losing carbonation.
Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel, and optionally add candied ginger.
Serve immediately.
