Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Muddler
  • Bar spoon
  • Ice cubes
  • Copper mug or small glass
  • Fine strainer

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vanilla vodka
  • 0.5 oz chocolate vodka or crème de cacao
  • 0.5 oz chocolate liqueur or cream liqueur
  • 3 oz ginger beer chilled
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • ice cubes
  • crushed crème eggs, mini chocolate eggs, or lime wheel optional garnish

Instructions

  • Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add vanilla vodka, chocolate vodka (or crème de cacao), chocolate liqueur, and lime juice.
  • Shake for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled copper mug or glass filled with ice.
  • Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a mini chocolate egg or chocolate shavings, if desired.

Notes

Lightly sweet with a gentle kick from ginger beer; the chocolate adds cozy richness while lime keeps it bright. Serve cold immediately to preserve the fizz. For a milder drink, swap ginger beer for ginger ale. Crushed ice or a light cream float can make it dessert-like. Use a good-quality chocolate vodka or crème de cacao for best flavor.
