Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger or small measuring cup
  • Martini glass
  • Small plate or shallow dish
  • Bar spoon
  • Fine strainer
  • Whipped cream can or dispenser

Ingredients

  • 1 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur Bailey’s or similar
  • 1 oz crème de cacao or chocolate liqueur
  • 0.5 oz coconut rum Malibu or similar
  • 0.5 oz coffee liqueur optional
  • 1 oz cream or advocaat
  • chocolate syrup for rimming and drizzling
  • whipped cream for topping
  • sprinkles or small chocolate bunny, for garnish
  • ice cubes for shaking

Instructions

  • Place the martini glass in the freezer for about 5 minutes to chill.
  • Rim the chilled glass with chocolate syrup, then dip the rim into sprinkles.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add vanilla vodka, Irish cream, crème de cacao (or chocolate liqueur), coconut rum, coffee liqueur (if using), and cream (or advocaat).
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the shaker is very cold.
  • Strain into the prepared martini glass.
  • Top with a swirl of whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Garnish with sprinkles or perch a small chocolate bunny on the rim.

Notes

Use crème de cacao for a chocolate-forward profile; chocolate liqueur works too. For a lighter texture, add a splash more cream or use advocaat. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute chocolate milk and coconut cream for the liqueurs. Serve immediately so the whipped cream stays fluffy and the drink cold.
