A cozy bourbon cocktail brightened with strong Earl Grey tea, muddled blackberries, lemon, and a touch of simple syrup—balanced, aromatic, and easy to sip.
1lemon twist or extra blackberryoptional, for garnish
Instructions
Brew strong Earl Grey tea and let it cool.
In a shaker, muddle the blackberries with the simple syrup until juicy.
Add bourbon, cooled Earl Grey tea, and lemon juice.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Double strain through a fine mesh strainer into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with a lemon twist or an extra blackberry and serve.
Notes
Brew the tea strong but not bitter. Adjust balance with a little more syrup (sweeter) or lemon juice (brighter). Thawed frozen blackberries work in a pinch. Add a splash of sparkling water for a lighter variation.
