  • Bar spoon

Ingredients

  • oz whiskey bourbon or rye
  • ½ oz blanco tequila
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz orgeat syrup
  • ¼ oz simple syrup optional, adjust to taste
  • Tajín seasoning for rimming glass
  • Crushed ice
  • 1 lime wheel or wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Wet the rim of a rocks glass with a lime wedge or water.
  • Dip the rim into tajín seasoning spread on a plate to coat.
  • Add whiskey, tequila, lime juice, orgeat syrup, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  • Fill the prepared glass with crushed ice.
  • Strain the cocktail into the glass over the crushed ice.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge and serve immediately.
