tequila
reposado preferred

fresh grapefruit juice

fresh lime juice

agave syrup
or simple syrup

cucumber

mint leaves
or basil
pinch salt

grapefruit soda
or club soda/sparkling water
ice cubes

Instructions
Run lime wedge around glass and dip in salt (optional). Add cucumber slices and mint to shaker; muddle gently.
Add tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave syrup. Fill shaker with ice and shake well.
Strain into glass over ice. Top with grapefruit soda and stir gently. Garnish as desired.
Notes
Try mezcal for a smoky flavor. Use basil instead of mint for a twist. More syrup means a sweeter drink. Fresh juice is best for bright flavor.
